I'd offer to help w/Mirage, but I have all the Mirage I need. [img]wink.gif[/img] Dreadwing, too, for that matter.

OK, Q-man...I knew you'd be the only one. Heh. Anyway, I tracked down a couple of Shockblast figures last month, specifically so I could do al little custom work. I like the mold, its neat in its own way, but that ENORMOUS UNARTICULATED CANNON ARM just kinda turns me off. So. I get my spares, and I take them apart and reassemble a Shockblast with two articulated arms, good for me. However...no single cannon arm. Now, of course, he has the puny dual turret cannons on both arms but...hmm. I am looking for something that can be put on that new arm that will emulate the cannon of the classic Shockwave (you know...rather more elegant and understated, although powerful looking--and not some enormous friggin' unmoveable chunk of plastic), yet I want to keep that articulation! I've been looking at other TF weapons and especially the energon weapons for something that might work, but none of them really inspire me. So, I need some opinions from someone knowledgable of the way the toy is made...you have any suggestions for what might work?

I know! Isn't that just about perfect? It has a "powerful" look without being oversized and ridiculous. But besides the fact we don't know when it comes out, he'd be a rather expensive toy to buy for fodder. Oh, but I will have that version of him, too, never fear. [img]wink.gif[/img]

That might look rather puny on the Energon Shock...er...blast, anyway.

I might just settle on leaving him as-is, or using the orange cannon that came with Rodimus. Painted, of course. Hmm...

Hmm...seeing I think you want it to match in some sort of way I say some of the other characters in the Energon line should work btu you need to customise it. I need to check if there is some sort of weapon /weaposn that can be customised into a gun that looks like the one we are used to see Shock with.

dont think the other lines like Armada and older have any things that will work.

or just wait and buy a cheap alt for 20 bucks and remove it and attach t to shockblast.
